My only experience with this game prior to purchasing it on GOG was playing the demo from a 2001 PC Gamer magazine demo disc. Recalling its ahead-of-the-time physics, I decided to buy it and try it out.
I have not tried multiplayer, but I imagine it would be fun to play the 'Destruction' mode against other humans.
Pros:
- There are a variety of gameplay modes.
- Wide-open levels (larger than most games of its time).
- Amazing physics (again, considering the time of release).
Cons:
- Singleplayer is quite shallow.
- The computer AI is really simple and easy to defeat. They often get stuck and remain motionless for the duration of the round.
- Music is extremely annoying.
