Needs work but excited for the next one!

The concept is good, even though it is a very direct inspiration from Firewatch, and taking something from Prey. However the writing is a bit lacking, the voice acting is not great, and the interface is hard to handle sometimes. The scenario and general ambient is good. All in all, it looks likethe best you can make if you are rushed and do things right. Not a bad start, but the rush and probably low budget are apparent. Still, worth a try.

Ok, but not great

I was immediately thinking of the Nostromo when walking through the hallways. The game has a Sci-Fi-Retro-Alien look, as was already mentioned in other reviews. So the atmosphere is quite nice. But the game is rather short, it would even be shorter, if there would not be constant backtracking and running around for same section to same section again. Puzzles are simple to trivial. But the most annoying part is the VR. Building the required connections is tedious and uselessly complicated because there is no "delete" function. One little mistake (that can happen quickly) and you have to start from scratch. Or maybe I was just to dumb to find a way to correct mistakes? Doesn't matter. After connecting the 20th dataline, I gave up and watched the walkthrough on YouTube... Good potential, but needs a lot of polishing!

Great game for enthusiasts of the genre

Titan Station is a narrative exploration game, or walking simulation if you so want. The game takes place on a space station orbiting Jupiter's moon Titan. You play as David Miller who at the beginning of the game gets a job on the station, but as you arrive you soon realise everything is not well and you are the only one that can save the station and people onboard. This description doesn't really do justice to the story, but overexplaining would ruin the experience. Overall I think the art direction and script were great. I wish there was a bit more variety in the design of the station since most areas are very similar, but I guess that choice was made to make it realistic. A space station probably would have corridors and rooms with a unified aesthetic, but some more exciting level design wouldn't hurt. The graphics are great and the atmosphere is well done. It doesn't fall into the horror trope which a lot of these kinds of games do and I appreciate that. There's a strong focus on the story and the ramifications of what David experiences and realizes, which is great since these kinds of games sink or swim depending on how well the story is executed and how interesting it is. Titan Station is a great journey and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in narrative driven games. Bear in mind that I finished it in about 3 hours so expect a full evening of playtime but not much more than if that's a problem for you. I don't mind. I love stories that don't waste my time.

good one

This game is a gem. I felt well entertained. From my point of view, the voice output is very good, the setting is really nice. I like the retro factor. The game is worth the money. I hope to see more of this, especially of the retro sci-fi. Thanks! This game is a bit like an interactive movie, but I'd watch it.

It's ok..

You are a System Administrator at a refuelling station near Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. You took the job because you were completely broke and could not pay your rent for a tiny room in another part of that station... As you can see, the story is not great… Moreover, if you are into astrophysics etc., you will notice some things that sound unrealistic, e.g. getting from Earth to Titan in 3 years in 1999? If you forget all that, the game is okay. It is a very simple story but most tasks are repetitive (open doors, login to a computer etc.). It also requires some reading of the documents you find to solve very simple puzzles. I’ve seen people completing this game in 3-4h. I played for 40 min and already had 33% of the achievements. If you have a lot of time to spare, and like this type of games, then go for it.
