Story:WWF WrestleMania (also known on console versions as WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game) is a professional wrestling arcade game released by Midway Manufacturing Co. in 1995. It is based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) professional wrestling promotion.
The game featured digitized representations of eight WWF performers who are pitted against each other in fast-paced matches inspired by Midway's Mortal Kombat games. Commentary is provided by Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler, who also appear in the game sitting at the announcers' table to the right of the ring.
Acclaim, who published the console versions of the game, developed a follow-up, WWF in Your House for the PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and DOS.Show more

WWF WrestleMania the Arcade Game is very special to me. Growing up in the 1990's, I had it on the Sega Genesis and would play it for hours with my dad. I would always select Razor Ramon, and he would play as Bret Hart. I was a huge wrestling fan at the time, but he couldn't stand it. He did, however, love playing fighting games with Street Fighter 2 and MK 2 being his particular favorites - WWF WrestleMania the Arcade Game was the best of both worlds for us!! It's a MK style, arcade brawler that happens to be a wrestling game.
I met Scott Hall (Razor Ramon) at a fan event, and he was gracious enough to sign my copy - when I told him of the hours of epic battles between Razor Ramon and Bret Hart, he laughed and crossed out Bret Hart's face and signed "Razor Ramon" over his own likeness. I proudly display that Genesis case on my wall to this day.
WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game (more specifically the MS-DOS version) would make a wonderful addition to the GOG library and would look perfect next to 90s classics like Mortal Kombat Trilogy and MK 1+2+3. It IS a game based on a licensed product, but I believe the performers may have some form of legends deal with WWE, so I'd like to hope a modern release is possible.
I actually been around three of it's ports growing up. I originally played it on Sega Genesis. Not long afterwards I gotten it's PC port. Then finally I had the PS1 version the best port I played. Midway was no stranger to using digitalized actors in their Arcade games. This almost felt like an Mortal Kombat game. Every wrestler has their signature finishers. You don't kill anyone with such intense action. This almost felt more like a fighting game than an wrestling one. You get two versions of the campaign to play. The later having more wrestlers to take down in matches. This is among my favorite WWF now WWE games. It's sequel WWF: In Your House holds nothing on this!!!

Virtua Fighter 4 EvolutionEvolution was an updated version of Virtua Fighter 4. The game introduced two new characters and adjusted every other character as well. The two new characters were the Judoka-assassin, Goh Hinogami and the Muay Thai boxer Brad Burns. With the addition of Brad Burns, Vanessa Lewis's alternate Muay Thai style from Virtua Fighter 4 was removed and replaced with a Vale Tudo "Offensive" style; making her a solely Vale Tudo brawler.
All of the stages were adjusted. For example, Lei-Fei's stage in Virtua Fighter 4 previously took place during sunset, in Evolution it takes place during the morning.Action
Mortal Kombat: ArmageddonMortal Kombat: Armageddon brags a roster of 62 characters and sees the return of classic ones from the original Mortal Kombat, such as Reptile, Shang Tsung and Goro. The enhanced Konquest mode (story/adventure mode) improves over the preceding versions, but has a shorter length. There are now 64 arenas (including revamped versions of classic environments) which each have their own tweaks, such as the ridiculous amount of stage fatalities (fatalities are a fancy way of killing your opponent, including classic techniques such as the "spine-rip" or "arm-break").Action
Mortal Kombat: DeceptionMortal Kombat: Deception is the sixth installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Based on the Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance engine, players once again have to fight to stop this new threat in the sixth installment of the fighting series. The standard Arcade, Versus, and Practice modes return, as well as new items to be found in the Krypt. In addition, there are new Konquest Adventure, Chess Kombat, and Puzzle Kombat modes to give the player new mini-games.
The Playstation 2 and Xbox versions offer online, competitive play against other players. The Gamecube version does not include online play, but offers Goro and Shao Kahn as exclusive playable characters.Action
Mortal Kombat: Deadly AllianceMortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is the first Mortal Kombat outing on the next-gen systems. New to DA is a completely revamped fight engine. The graphics are in full 3D and feature somewhat interactive environments. Each character now has different fighting stances, allowing them to be in an offensive stance or a fatality stance.
Returning from past games are all your favorite fighters, and a host of new ones. Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, joined by such newcomers as Molloch and Quan Chi. Each character has their own specific fatalities.Action Horror
