I'd really love for this to be brought back in any capacity. First stumbled into Wild Card for being a fan of the SaGa series, and hearing its wonderful battle themes that managed to make the Wonderswan soundchip actually sound good.
Since then, I've been mostly reading about it, it has such interesting systems implemented into it.
