WeaponLordA barbarian battleground. Seven different warriors, eached armed with a unique weapon set forth on a fighting game quest where they will clash and conflict with one another in this fighting game from Namco. Their ultimate foe is the mysterious Demonlord. An early relative of the popular Soul Calibur series, the main claim to fame of this game is the weapon play. Blocking and combos are present along with special "frenzies" of increased attack and death combos. The backgrounds are all hand drawn and meticulously detailed. Each character carries their own storyline with them between arenas, jungles and firey mountains on a quest to oppose the Demonlord.

Wild Arms 3The first two games in the Wild Arms series garnered attention and acclaim as they brought classic console role-playing to the original PlayStation. Though crafted in the same story-telling spirit, Wild Arms 3 (titled Wild Arms Advanced 3rd in Japan) boasts major technological improvements and a number of new gameplay elements. Wild Arms 3 features four main characters and takes the time to let players become acquainted with each of them. The "drifters" Virginia, Gallows, Jet, and Clive are four very different adventurers whose paths intertwine toward a shared destiny. Though each has his or her own personal motivations, all four seek an explanation for why the once-verdant lands of Filgaia have become dry and barren. Differences must be overcome and the characters must act in harmony if they are to truly understand the ancient mystical forces at work.
As the drifters move through the desolate land of Filgaia, they are challenged with a number of mysteries to solve and barriers to overcome. The different special abilities of each character must be used to solve different parts of the game's complex puzzles. A technique dubbed "expressive communication" is designed to allow players to quickly gauge the moods and emotions of the onscreen characters. Monsters, villains, and other horrible creatures stand between the drifters and their destinations as well. The Wild Arms 3 turn-based battle system is designed to offer players an intricate level of control, allowing tactics that make wise use of the various powers and weaponry of the drifters while presenting combat with cinematic flair.

Chessmaster: Grandmaster EditionThe newest iteration in the Chessmaster series features an extensive Chess-tutorial by Chess Master Josh Waitzkin. Based on his book "The Art of Learning" and accompanied by the comments of Chess Grandmaster Larry Christiansen, beginners as well as advanced players can learn and perfect their skills in several dozens training sessions with extensive examples and explanations. The game also includes 900 famous chess plays to show off the skills of the masters and what lead to their victory.
To test his own skills, the player can choose to play against several AI-opponents that greatly differ in skill and used tactics or go online and play in ranked matches, tournaments and others. After each match the player can also choose to let the AI analyze the past match to show the bad and good moves of the play. By winning ranked plays, the player can also unlock new 2D and 3D chess sets including a 3D chess set featuring the rabbits from Rayman Raving Rabbids If the player doesn't want to play a full match, he can also try to solve the several hundred chess puzzle available.
Chessmaster: Grandmaster Edition also features several mini-games like "Pathfinder", which is kind of a Nibbles-clone with chess pieces, or "Fork My Fruit" in which the player uses the chess pieces and their corresponding moves to capture two or more fruits on the board at the same time to earn points.Educational
NHL Open Ice: 2 on 2 ChallengeNHL Open Ice is the NBA Jam for ice hockey, with a 2 on 2 arcade action featuring a full NHL license including actual team names and logos and 120 actual NHLPA players with reflective stats for the 1995-96 season.
The game features power-ups that will aid the players along during a game including the "Hot Meter" which is filled with every score, body check and steals. Once the meter is full, the player will literally catch fire and their stats will max out for a brief period of time, allowing the player to score goals better, steal the puck more often, etc.
There is five difficulty settings and adjustable options such as period time times and cheat options such as "Big Head" mode and multiplayer capabilities for either head-to-head action or co-op play.
