A beautiful love-letter to what makes gaming so unique. 50 various retro-stylized games that could've been its own thing entirely, everything clearly has love poured into it. Absolutely deserving of GOG status so you can truly 'Play Forever'.
It's literally a game about good old games. How is this not on GOG already??
I have not played it my self yet, I hope to do that with a future GOG release. But I've watched & listened to hours of people praising this game as one of the best of 2024. And I can't stop listening to the almost 7-hour-long!! 8-bit soundtrack goodness these games come with. This project truly is an incredible achievement.

UFO 50 is the chronicle of a fictional console that was thought to be lost, until you the player find it one day. The games do often veer into the challenging side, but that's part of the pedigree of authenticity to the era. Unlike Action 52, the games aren't shoddily constructed. Be the judge of their final quality how you want, and watch the games unfold before you. Several of them even have hotseat multiplayer!
Streets of SimCityStreets of SimCity is a 1997 racing and vehicular combat computer game published by Maxis. The game offers several different modes of play, including a career mode, where the primary, mission-based play mode allows the player takes part in one of four television shows, with missions being presented as "episodes." Grand Theft Auto V is the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar Games has yet created, and takes full advantage of every ounce of processing power available in the current generation of consoles. In order to provide the best possible experience for such a massive and detailed world, the game will have installation requirements on the Xbox 360.
Grand Theft Auto V will ship on two discs; Disc 1 will be used for a one-time mandatory install and Disc 2 will be used to play the game. After the install, players will be able to enjoy both Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online without any need to switch discs.
This initial install will require an Xbox 360 Hard Drive or an external 16GB USB flash drive (sold separately) with at least 8 GB of free space. Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Edition BundleGrand Theft Auto V takes place five years after Grand Theft Auto IV and is now set in Los Santos. It centers around three protagonists: Michael, Trevor, and Franklin. New to the series is that the player can switch between the three characters on the fly. They each have different missions, lives, and personalities. They also often come together, especially for heists, a complex type of mission where a large operation needs to be planned and executed by determining a strategy and hiring additional henchmen. As with previous games in the series, the gameplay involves gunfights and takes place in a sprawling, open-world city where players get around by acquiring transport (cars, boats, helicopters, etc) through less than legal means. Players can roam the game world, complete story missions, and partake in various illegal activities, including shooting civilians, robbing people, destruction of cars, and the titular act of car theft. These lead to a wanted rating of up to five stars, sending in a police force in pursuit. Continuing to resist the police will also increase it. The wanted status is lost by getting out of sight or by spraying the car.Open world Action
Sam & Max: Save the World (2007 Original Version)The characters can travel between a variety of locations in the game using their black and white 1960 DeSoto Adventurer, which, when selected, will present the player with a list of available destinations. The DeSoto is also used for several driving sequences, usually involving pursuing or fleeing criminals in other vehicles. In these driving sequences, the player can use Sam's gun, the car's horn, or have Max attempt to communicate with other vehicles via a megaphone. In addition, special inventory items may be used to complete specific puzzles within these sequences. Driving sequences are also used for several minigames, such as pulling innocent drivers over for fabricated felonies.
