I have a love/hate relationship with this game. There's plenty of stuff I do like about it. But there's also major problems I always had with the game. I always liked the cover myself since Sweet Tooth my favorite Twisted Metal character. The soundtrack can differ in people's taste. I do like some Rob Zombie songs gotten into the game. Usually they don't use licensed music in Twisted Metal games. Sadly it's virtually the same plot as Twisted Metal 2 in a nut shell. Calypso wants to extend the competition to the world. They even brought back the same voice actor to reprise the role. Speaking of Calypso, every ending is borderline terrible. The stages just felt unbalanced as a whole. Plus having some of them with stuff to destroy to stop respawning opponents doesn't help things. They even made both Sweet Tooth and Minion hidden characters once again. Geez I wondered which TM game done that before coughs TM2. The new engine with the physics just doesn't work well. Twisted Metal 4 ended up being a much better usage of the same engine. I do like the intro especially one of the best aspects of the game. It's a bit weird from Twisted Metal 2 to 4. The franchise released games right on Halloween. Which I do like being a huge fan of Halloween the holiday for a long time. To me playing TM III felt like a bad TM 2 port. Maybe that's a bit harsh I know. I strongly felt a lot of major changes could go a long way. I'm not even a fan of the roster at all. I always disliked this version of Sweet Tooth with a huge passion. In all honestly that's not Sweet Tooth!!! Sure I could see people enjoying the hell out of this TM game. I may consider getting it if people made mods for it.
AliensAliens is an arcade game based loosely on the 1986 movie Aliens. You and a friend play female Marines and you must explore and destroy all aliens who have taken over a now abandoned space settlement LV426 Acheron. If you can find any survivors try to rescue them. As well as your normal gun there are other weapons that can be used to help you. A Caterpillar P-5000 can also be found and used.
Aliens is mainly a side view horizontal shooter where the screen scrolls as you move from left to right. Some parts of the game require you to look behind the hero firing into the screen as aliens come towards from the distance as well as moving in other directions like in a lift. You can also be driving into the screen trying to shoot aliens.Action Science fiction

Aliens versus PredatorAliens versus Predator offers three separate campaigns, each playable as a separate species: Alien, Predator, or human Colonial Marine. Each player character has different objectives, abilities, and weapons. The single-player campaign presents the player with a conventional series of levels to progress through that are designed around the abilities of each character.
As the Colonial Marine the player uses a number of weapons to combat Aliens and Predators. The marine wears armor for protection and uses an image intensifier and flares to improve visibility in dark areas.
When playing as the Predator the player uses a variety of weapons from the Predator films such as wrist blades, a throwing disc, and shoulder-mounted energy weapons. The Predator is the most durable of the three player characters and can survive falls from greater heights than the human. The player can use a cloaking device to become invisible and several different modes of vision to detect enemies, including an infrared vision mode and a mode sensitive to electrical systems.
As an Alien the player can explore most of the game's environments freely, even climbing across walls and ceilings. The Alien has no weapons, however, using its claws, tail, and jaws to attack enemies. The screen is distorted into a fish eye lens effect to reflect the Alien's field of view. The player can also use a form of echolocation in dark areas and can detect pheromones to discern human or Predator enemies. The Alien can drop from any height without injury and is the fastest of the three player characters.
Several bonus levels allow each player character access to portions of the missions of the other characters. To allow the marine and Predator characters to traverse through the areas of the Alien missions, the player is supplied with a jet pack for the marine and a grappling hook for the Predator.Action Horror Science fiction

The player switches between the four main characters at each level change, each with a slightly different set of abilities (Call has a motion tracker, Christie has his twin pistols from the film). Alien vs. PredatorSan Drad, California, has been overrun by the Aliens, and the cybernetically-enhanced Major Dutch Schaefer and Lieutenant Linn Kurosawa have been abandoned by their superiors and are cornered by a swarm of the Alien drones. Before they can be killed, a pair of the Predators appear and destroy the Aliens. The Predators offer an alliance with the two humans in order to stop the Alien infestation.
The players take control of up to three of four characters: Dutch, Linn, a Predator hunter, and a Predator warrior, and battle the Aliens through several environments. In the process, the characters discover that the Alien presence on Earth is the result of an experiment headed by a renegade General Bush of the U.S. Colonial Marines in conjunction with the Weyland-Yutani corporation. They destroy the Alien hive by crashing a military ship into San Drad, causing a huge explosion. The Predator warrior then gives his wrist blades to Dutch and Linn in recognition of their skills as warriors, before the Predators depart back into space.Action Horror Science fiction
