Story:Top Gun: Fire at Will is a flight simulator based on the movie of the same name. You take the role of Maverick and must pilot your F-14 Tomcat with your RIO Merlin in the backseat through a series of missions that begin with the Top Gun School in San Diego and continue with conflict zones in Cuba, Korea and Libya.
Full motion video cutscenes with live actors play between many of the game's fifty or so missions, with James Tolkan being the only actor to return from the original movie.Show more

This was my first game on the PC, that's where it all began for me. It's a great game based on the movie of the time. I would be very happy to be able to buy an executable version from GoG again. The game would be a great childhood memory for me.
This is another game that showed me the potential of how good PC gaming at the time could be. It has live action sequences and excellent storytelling throughout the missions, with dialog between you (the silent protagonist "Maverick") and your wingman "Merlin" and the rest of your flight squad. You play through training missions which are way more fun than they have any right to be, working through the competition for the Top Gun trophy, just like in the original film, before you get sent off to put your skills to the test in several campaigns. Not to mention it has an excellent soundtrack! This one has "flown under the radar" for far too long, let's hope we get this brought to the GOG collection soon!
NoctisNoctis is a computer space flight simulator featuring first-person visual exploration of an imaginary galaxy.
The player is manifested in Noctis as the pilot of spacecraft called a Stardrifter, capable of instantaneous interstellar travel. This allows travelling between stars, refuelling the Stardrifter from Lithium ion-ejecting stars, approaching planets in star systems and their moons, and even landing where it is physically possible. Many planets feature atmospheres and weather effects. Some harbour plants and animals, or even mysterious ruins. No goal or measure of success is imposed by the game: it simply allows the player to catalogue and annotate the player's discoveries in a common database of stellar bodies called the GUIDE, which is to be synchronised over the author's Internet server.

Building on the sim gameplay of the original Stronghold, Stronghold 2 allows players to rule as they please and still conquer each skirmish. Shin Megami Tensei IIFifty years have passed since the hero of Shin Megami Tensei followed the neutral path, defeated the leaders of Law and Chaos, and founded a state where followers of both ideologies could live freely. Shin Megami Tensei II retains all the gameplay features of the previous game. The player is able to summon demons, fuse them to create more powerful ones, make them participate in battles, talk to random enemies and receive information from them, etc. The combat is turn-based, and the player explores the complex, maze-like dungeons from a first-person perspective view. Like in the first game, the Law, Chaos, and Neutral alignments play an important role: during the course of the game, the player will have to make choices that influence the alignment of the protagonist, steering the storyline into different directions.
New features include a "magic succession" system, which allows demons to carry over their original magic spells when they are fused into new ones, a few additional spells and abilities, and the possibility to play at the casino and win unique items.Fantasy Thriller Warfare Science fiction
