The game is split into 22 levels for the three playable characters: Peter, Stewie or Brian. Peter and Stewie have eight levels, while Brian has six. Each character has his own unique style of play.
A key feature of the game are mini-games done in the same style as the cutaway gags that the show is famous for, usually lasting less than 10 seconds. The mini-games often repeat cutaway gags from the shows, such as Peter inexplicably burning his hand in a waffle iron. It's a good old platformer in gameboy style, just 4 colors on screen.
Simple gameplay, you can switch the 4 turtles and use them during the stage, you can collect ninja stars and perform ground attack and aerial attack. (each turtle a different one).
Each turtle's got a lifebar, but be careful, if you loose one of the four it's game over! So you are forced to use all of them as a good team. (obviously ;)

Each area consists of three levels including the boss level, but initially only the Japan area can be accessed with other areas becoming available as play progresses. Each area alternates between Shaggy and Scooby as the character being controlled.Action Comedy Horror
