Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - The Fallen (2000)

Genres:Shooter
Themes:Action, Science fiction
Game modes:Single player
Story:The Bajorans believe the alien species that reside in the wormhole near their planet are Prophets, worshipping them as gods and referring to the wormhole as the "Celestial Temple". Bajoran legend tells that millennia ago, the Prophets expelled another race from the wormhole, the Pah-wraiths, imprisoning them forever in the Fire Caves on Bajor. However, legend tells of three red Orbs which are said to hold the key to the Pah-wraiths' resurrection and return to the Temple, although none of these Orbs have ever been located. Or so it is thought. The game is loosely based on a trilogy of novels by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens called Millennium: The Fall of Terok Nor, The War of the Prophets, and Inferno. The setting is the Deep Space Nine space station featured in the American science fiction television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.Show more

A hidden gem of a Trek game. Action, exploration, and even the chance to tour some of the more famous parts of the station itself. Hard to get running on modern equipment, and even when successful, a lot of the UI could use some updates for modern screen resolutions.

Only played this game last year, it was from the Abandonware site and it didn't run very well, but would love to see a more stable version on GOG that works on modern systems. The game is a must for Star Trek fans like myself!
Arguably the best story-building of a working action-packed Star Trek universe, where you can choose from 3 notable characters and every single ones playthrough is unique and somewhere their playthrough meets over the story. The game was having the Convergence expansion pack as well with brand new missions and more depths of using unused content from the developers. Back in the day, the demo version lured me into this. Hope for the GOG version to come out in the future.
Having to run this through wrappers with specific settings is difficult and you get a lot of graphical errors and bugs. A properly-working version of this would be nice.

I remember playing the beginning of the game. The soundtrack was phenomenal and at that time were also the graphics. But it was somehow tough and after some time I got stuck somewhere. Still, up till now the best game to my most beloved series of all time.
Deep Space Nine didn’t get nearly enough gaming love, for the richest of all the environments from 90s trek IMO. This game had a great story, decent gameplay and you could lose a good few hours in the world of DS9.
This is a moderately difficult, but excellent game for Deep Space Nine fans. My only disappointment was that the developers didn’t make a plot line for all of the main characters. I would enjoyed being able to play Dax or O’Brien. As others have mentioned, it is extremely difficult to get running on modern computers. This would be an instant buy for me it they released in on GOG.

I only found out about this year after it had been released. I would be so happy to get to play this finally. Especially since I have re-binged Deep Space 9 on Netflix

MechWarrior: Living Legends
MechWarrior: Living LegendsInitially released in 2009, MechWarrior: Living Legends (MWLL) is an award-winning total conversion multiplayer-only mod for Crysis Wars. A sort of tactical FPS, MWLL combines BattleTech's combined-arms warfare and universe with BattleField's vast open maps and domination-style gameplay. The project became a "standalone mod" when development was transferred to its own fanbase in 2016, who incorporated a bare-bones Crysis Wars demo as part of the new install package. MWLL uses CryEngine 2 as its engine and is set in the BattleTech universe. It is one of the few BattleTech-themed mods to have been sanctioned by Microsoft.
