Story:Snoopy vs. the Red Baron is a flight combat game released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and PC in 2006.[1] As the name implies, the protagonist is Snoopy, the dog in Charles M. Schulz's comic strip, Peanuts. The game is based on one of the most famous Snoopy alter egos: a World War I flying ace battling against Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron, the Flying Circus: Jagdgeschwader 1, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and other enemies of the war.Show more

I would play this game on my PS2 as a kid while my parents watched. We'd bond over the comics and the goofiness of Snoopy and Woodstock flying around while the rest of the cast for the comics got placed as (mostly) high-ranking military personnel. I recall some of the later levels/bosses being pretty difficult, but for the most part, it's a pretty simplistic and easy game with some nice references to the comics for fans of Snoopy's WW1 Flying Ace persona.
Everybody has that one licensed game from their childhood and for me it's this one. It's the first PC game I ever played and it was mindblowing to tiny me. My brother and I would repeatedly play it and 100% it twice. I especially love the first bossfight of the game controlling woodstock with a gatling gun.
The reason I fell in love with jazz and dogfight games, is because of Snoopy vs the Red Baron. This games means a lot to me because of the rainy days playing on my PS2 while my family read on the living room. They didn't mind the soundtrack at all, even the most upbeat tracks.
