Story:As a ninja with a mission to "redeem Naipusan, the once peaceful land that was destroyed by the northern armies", you have to defeat the evil Shogun of Death.
Shadow Knights is a platform game where you try to complete several levels, such as a village, a cemetery or a castle, before confronting the final boss. On each level, you'll encounter a lot of enemies - initially dogs and ninjas with clubs and bows, but more types of enemies appear later.
To defeat them, you can slash at them with your sword. However, your ninja also has magic powers. He can spend this magical energy to toss magical projectiles at the enemies, or to restore his health. Depleted magical energy can be refilled by collecting golden spheres scattered throughout the levels.Show more

Y'all I swear the amount of time my sister and I put into this game when we were kids was insane! I don't think we ever finished it but my god it was great! I still have a 3.5inch floppy with a copy of the game on it and it will forever have a place in my heart <3
Used to play it a lot as a kid on my dad's PC in the 90s. And I like to play many Ninja games. And the game reminds of when I was a carefree kid who plays video games.
This game brings back memories... my sister and I played this a lot, way back when. It'd be really great to get to play it again with GOG-provided support, just like with Jill of the Jungle.

There are four skill levels to this game, a piece of brain is being held on each skill and fun level. The levels are all quite different in a skill and fun sort of way, but all have different things in common. Good things like sausages, eggs, beans, spam (skill) and cheese (fun) and bad things like dead parrots.
Because each level is quite different in a skill and fun sort of way, Mr. Gumby cannot always walk, so, his body is changed to suit the surroundings. Like on the first level, where he is changed into a fish to swim in the maze like underwater caverns.
When each level runs out there is no more, Mr. Gumby is changed back to normal (well normal for him) and he is sick, all the good things picked up along the way go in a big hole and are counted for points. Best of all though if you got 16 lots of spam Mr. Gumby can have a piece of his brain back. Then you have to do it all again.Action Fantasy Comedy
