Shadow Hearts has been my favorite game since it came out in 2001. It has always held a very special place in my heart. I remember watching my uncle play it and immediately falling in love with the weird and gothic world and all of the amazing unique characters. I have a tradition where I replay the game every year to help share it with as many people as I can in hopes of seeing the series come back. This game means so much to me and I would love to see it on GOG so more people can fall in love with one of the best most unique and wonderful JRPGs to ever exist.

Shadow Hearts has been my all times favourite JRPG since a store clerk handed the game to me when I asked them for Kingdom Hearts over 20 years ago. Shadow Hearts' unique blend of horror and RPG, set in a semi historical setting in the near past with many notable historical figures making appearances and being involved in the story is something that you don't find in any other series of games. The series has been languishing in limbo for years now with no plans for a re-release in sight or any potential of any further installments. Shadow Hearts deserves more eyes on it and for people to finally have the game in an accessible form.

My first game I played on the PS2. It’s got an amazing story full of twists, humor, deep and dark elements. There’s a lot of interesting gameplay mechanics and the wheel of fate really makes things fun.

Genuinely one of the best and most overlooked RPG series out there, with their blend of horror fantasy and real world events along with a great story, memorable characters, fantastic monster design, and a really good combat system with the Judgment Ring and the Fusion of the MC with badass demons. This game along with both it's sequel and From the New World hold special places in my heart and being able to play them again on modern hardware without having to break out my ps2 would be amazing, and anyone who is new to the franchise is in for an absolute gem of an experience!

the opening alone was such a shock to the system when I was a kid, the setting, the music and the skill-based combat set in a turn-based game, I haven't seen a game since try to do something like the judgment wheel, it gave you the perfect amount of risk to reward, and mastering the timing on your abilities meant that if a battle got under your skin you could miss time your inputs. the setting itself is another I haven't seen done as well in RPGs, and while it is horror, the narrative balances it well with brevity, alongside a genuinely enthralling story with some absolutely amazing cutscenes. Shadow hearts as well as its predecessor koudelka need to be made available to everyone, this classic RPG needs to live again.
It's the game that made me a JRPG fan again. Refreshing ideas, a fun and unique turn based combat system, a historical fantasy scenario with horror elements (pre ww1) and very crazy and fun characters. Also one of the few ps2 Era games with a returning protagonist (Shadow Hearts covenant). It's also the continuation of the classic game Koudelka! The fusion system (protagonist fuses with set monsters) is basically a prototype of the Archetype system of Metaphor Refantazio. My brother and me played the sequel and likes it a lot. After finishing the first disc I randomly found a used copy of Shadow Hearts 1 in a local video store for 10 Euros. We immediately started playing it (it even fit well narratives from where we left off)and it was one of the best JRPGs we played and is still one of our faves. I'd love to see it preserved on GOG, play it and gift it to others I know will be interested.

Shadow Hearts (and all the other games in the series, including Kourdelka) is one of the most unique and all-around great JRPGs of all time, and it's trapped on the PS2. I'd buy a copy on GOG for me and just about anyone else who wanted one.
shadow hearts 1,2,and 3 need to ABSOLUTELY be brought to GOG,these games are incredible,i spent countless hours playing all of them on the ps2,and hands down 3 of the best rpgs i have ever played
Shadow Hearts is a wonderful game with many unique charms that can't be found anywhere else. The story is truly exceptional, and I even cried when I played it. I'm eagerly waiting for a remake or a port.
Those games also need your vote!

Secret of Mana
Secret of ManaInitially released in Japan in 1993, Secret of Mana took the world by storm with its innovative real-time battle system and gorgeously rendered world. It continues to stand out among other action RPGs for its seamless gameplay that anyone from beginner to veteran can enjoy. One of the most memorable elements of the Mana series is the Ring Command menu system. With the single press of a button, a ring-shaped menu appears on the screen, where players can use items, change weapons, and do a variety of other actions without needing to switch screens. This Ring Command menu system for which the Mana series is so well known was first introduced in Secret of Mana and has since appeared in most games in the series. Play as Randi and his two companions, Primm and Popoi, as they adventure all around the world. At the center of our epic story is the mystical power of Mana. Battle the empire in its quest for control of Mana. Befriend the eight elementals who wield the forces of nature itself. Numerous encounters await at every turn.

Final Fantasy VI
Final Fantasy VIFinal Fantasy VI first debuted in 1994 as the sixth instalment in the iconic Final Fantasy series. Innovations included the ability to play all the main characters as the game's protagonist, and to this day, its epic story intertwining each of their fates is still highly rated and wildly popular. With plenty of abilities available and the magicite system for controlling spells/summoning, players can develop their characters any way they want. This was also the first Final Fantasy game to include the Ultima Weapon, the most powerful sword of all and a recurring item in subsequent titles within the series.

Parasite Eve II
Parasite Eve IIParasite Eve II is an action role-playing survival horror video game released exclusively for the PlayStation. The game was developed by Square and published in Japan in 1999 and in both North America and, unlike the previous game, in PAL regions in 2000. It is the sequel to Parasite Eve and the second game in the series of the same name. Parasite Eve II is set several years after the events in the original game. The protagonist from the first game, Aya Brea, also features in this game as the playable character. She becomes involved with another outbreak of Mitochondrial creatures. Gameplay diverges from the previous game: battles take place in real time and the area of action is less restrictive. The approach is more typical of traditional survival horror games, although some role-playing elements are retained.

Fable: The Lost Chapters
Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008. The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister. The updated edition of the game also applied fixes for certain glitches, such as the "dig glitch," in which the protagonist would move backward each time he used the shovel, pushing him through solid objects and sometimes trapping him.
