It may not be the best game ever made but it's my favorite. This game came with a Desktop my parents bought in 99 or 2000 and I still play it through at least once a year.
I played this in my childhood on my friend's PC and I just remember it recently. All I remember from this game is that u play as a tank, it's fast and sometimes acrobatic?? I wanna play this again it looks so fun.

It was just... Cool, imagine the weapon collection and selectivity of Duke Nukem, in a semi open world format, upgrades to change the environment in which your Tank could travel, the cheesiest live-action cutscenes and then a really cool Music ensemble to join it, I would buy this game the second it was released on GOG

In my early days of Pc gaming I loved this game, it was just fun to play. It was a quick little take on tank games that you don't see anymore, the graphics for its day were great, handling of the tank was over the top and that's what made it fun, it just brought a smile to my face to play it.

I got this game in Germany bundled with a soundcard, I believe, and it's one of the only games that still stick with me to this day. Not only is controlling the BFT super fun, the variety of futuristic weapons yielded hours of fun for little me. Admittedly, it's not the longest campaign ever, and due to the EA takeover, the online multiplayer functionality was only up for a couple of years at best (TCP/IP still possible!), but I really believe the game deserves more recognition. You've got my vote. (The game is super playable on Windows 11 through some wrappers, google to find our Discord. :D)
one of the first 3d games i every played and man uncovering all the secrets like how to get the nuke in level one you walk on land you walk on water you walk on lava what more do you want ww2 dlc going against some tigers i hope i can play it again on modern windows and resolutions
My grandpa was one of the first people I knew to get a computer and actually have games for it, this was one of two games he had. He and I playing this game, learning everything about it, is a memory I absolutely treasure. When he passed, I had the soundtrack downloaded so that I could look back on this, but I really wish I could play this again, maybe with a son of my own some day.

Fun arcade game from the late 90's. Classic nostalgia fun. The only downside of the game IMO is that it is a bit too dark in places and there are some levels where you can't tell where you're going. Otherwise this game is a blast!

Recoil was one of the first games I ever played as a kid. I have fond memories of playing it with my dad and brother. It's really fun to explore the maps, find new ammo, and destroy the enemy tanks. I'd love for more people to get a chance to play this game.
