Simply one of the most beautiful experiences ever made possible in the world of gaming and one that truly proves that video games can be a form of art as well. One thing that is imperative to enjoying the experience fully is knowing as little as possible about the game when starting it. The game also leans heavily on this - it holds your hand as little as possible, piquing your interest, setting up a mystery for you to solve and then allowing you to, almost completely, wander and do as you see fit. Truly, there is no other like it.

Such an amazing experience, journey and narrative, a genuine one-of-a-kind that only the video game medium could produce. A game you can only really play "properly" once, figuring out both the story and your role in it, being the rogue-like element of the game, so once you "beat" it, you've finished the book, ended the film, so on and so forth. Sad, but completely worth playing none-the-less, one of those times you wish you could just forget and go back in blind for the first time again. If any game truly deserves to be preserved by GoG, it's gotta be this one. It's a game everyone should have the right to play at some point in their life.

Simply a masterclass in game design. A story uncovered by following your curiosity and exploring, piecing together the mystery of this gradually. So satisfying. Soundtrack is iconic.
I hope we get a DRM free version of this. This game is too important to be left on Steam or Epic, plus I cannot stand First-Person Perspective controls on the console versions. An open world innovative indie game, with player exploration at the forefront of it's design, dealing with theme's of death and peace, made by a small team who didn't need alot and knew what they were doing, with the whole thing being at the epicenter example of video games doing what movies and books cannot do, who wouldn't want this in their collection?
It's impossible to recreate the feeling of pure wonder and magic that comes from playing your first ever immersive videogame... or so I thought. Then I played Outer Wilds, and for the first time in more than two decades, I felt like a child again. This game changed so many people's lives, including mine. If any game should be preserved, it's this one. And so I humbly offer this quantum poem* to the overlords of preservation in the hope that it may please them: To guide them home I play my song Under this cold starry dome Hope it won't take long (*the lines of a quantum poem should be read in any order)

This is probably one of the best games of the last decade. Every single person who has played it wishes they could forget it to play it again. It's beautiful, mysterious, calming, simple and complex and makes you think and wonder. This game doesn't deserve to suffer DRM.

This is my all-time favorite game. Without getting into too many personal details, the way this game helped me accept my mortality and reframed a near-death experience I had was absolutely life-changing. The peace it has offered me regarding life and death is a price that can never be repaid to the developers. I owe them so much. I would love for this game to be made available on GOG.
Those games also need your vote!
Fable
FableIn Fable, the players' every action determines their character's skills, appearances and moralities. Life stories are created from childhood through adulthood and on to old age. Players may choose the paths of righteousness or dedicate their characters' lives to evil; observing as they transform into reflections of their actions and decisions. As players' characters develop, the world reacts to them and their actions. People comment on their successes, failures, appearances and behaviors. Their many opinions are expressed through applause, mockery, trepidation, panic and even flirtation. With each person characters aid and every creature they slay, the world is changed forever. In Fable, gamers decide: "Who will I be?"
