Here's a game I played through school as a kid. There's a huge chance my interest in math increased because of this game. You have to correctly devour the right numbers while avoiding creatures. The sound effects are somewhat iconic. The controls are easy enough to get down quickly. I do remembered getting far into this a couple times. Number Munchers is on the verge becoming a forgotten educational game. A surprisingly fun one at that. It's as simple as it appears. You barely stop sorta plays a bit off like the rhythm of Sonic series. You wanna constantly move around. But at times be cautious how the enemies could move. Suddenly trying to find the correct answers while avoiding trickier enemies ends up being a challenge. I felt the difficulty balance just right. It's a real shame there's little to no way to play this anymore. If The Oregon Trail come back on GOG. Why not Number Munchers as well? I could see a lot of kids enjoying this. For me it would be a great game to revisit while taking things easy. I just hope more people gets on board supporting this game.
