Mystic Ark: Maboroshi Gekijo

Mystic Ark: Maboroshi Gekijo (1999)

by Produce, Enix
Genres:Adventure, Turn-based strategy (TBS), Card & Board Game
Themes:Fantasy
Game modes:Single player
Story:Sequel to Mystic Ark from the SNES. This is a pure adventure game, shedding all the JRPG elements the series had up to that point, eliminating all random encounters, making combat an afterthought, and uses the Arks in two iterations for solving puzzles: their Fairy Form and fully awakened Ark Form. They can utilize their powers through cards which can be found or won through games which you'll need to activate different powers from elemental abilities to manipulating a character's thoughts, changing their mind by making them braver or changing their perspective, etc. Subtle differences aside, the rest of the gameplay is fairly standard and includes using items and interacting with objects to progress.Show more

Fire Emblem Fates: Special Edition
Fire Emblem Fates: Special EditionFire Emblem Fates - Special Edition was a limited time bundle containing both base stories, Birthright and Conquest, and gave access to DLC for the 3rd story, Revelation, when it became available. The games were otherwise sold separately though you could get the second story path digitally at a discount. You need to be have completed chapter 6 in the either game to access the other stories, and the DLCs, path. Conquest is the hardest of the 3 paths having no ability to grind experience from maps, tougher mission objectives, and giving less money and experience for those missions. Birthright, the easiest path, has the ability to use scouting missions to grind experience and money and simpler mission objectives that give greater amounts of experience and money. Revelation is in the middle as the scouting missions are available but the mission objectives are similar to Conquest's. This is ignoring the 3 difficulty settings in-game. "Two kingdoms at war – the peace-loving Hoshido and the glory-seeking Nohr – It’s up to the player to decide which side to take. As the prince/princess of Hoshido, who was raised by Nohr royal family, you will be torn between two families you love. Whichever path you take, you will face different types of challenges."

On this occasion, Sonic is joined by friends Tails, Knuckles and Cream the Rabbit, the latest addition to the Sonic team. Chaos Emeralds and Special Rings litter the stages. To collect the emeralds (transforming Sonic into Super Sonic for the final battle with Dr. Eggman), you must find the special rings hidden in each stage to unlock the bonus stage. Complete the bonus stage and the emerald is yours. You'll also get the chance to collect and raise chaos, and trade them over to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on GameCube, through the use of the GBA/GC link cable.

Sonic Robo Blast 2
Sonic Robo Blast 2Sonic Robo Blast 2, abbreviated as SRB2, is a fan game for Windows and DOS platforms. It is a 3D platformer developed by a group called Sonic Team Junior, using a modified version of the Doom Legacy source port of Doom, to allow for such things as optional analog control and true room-over-room (something not possible in the standard Doom engine), as well as the standard gameplay elements Sonic games are known for. It has been in the works since 1998 and is currently nearing completion, though several parts of the game are still missing. Sonic Robo Blast 2 is closely inspired by the original 2D Sonic games for the Genesis and attempts to recreate a game with this style in 3D, though it also borrows elements from the current Sonic games, such as Sonic's signature Air Spin Attack. Entirely original to SRB2 is its Multiplayer mode, a variation of classic first-person shooter games with Sonic elements. Due to being built with a modified Doom Legacy engine, the game is also very easily customizable. Custom levels, characters and even source code modifications can be created with the help of external editors.
