Mortal Kombat II

Mortal Kombat II (1994)

by Hummer Team, J.Y. Company
Genres:Fighting
Themes:Action
Game modes:Single player
Story:Mortal Kombat II is an unlicensed port of Mortal Kombat made by Hummer Team. Both Kart Fighter and AV Bishoujo Senshi Girl Fighting, which were released later, use an earlier version of this game's engine. Despite the title, this game is actually a port of the first Mortal Kombat. This was likely done as a form of selling the product as a sequel, a common trait with unlicensed NES games. While the game is mostly faithful to the original game graphics-wise, some features were cut from the game. These include fatalities and blood which are found only in Mortal Kombat II Special. Also Goro is the same size as the other characters, probably due to the NES's limitations.Show more

Dahna: Megami Tanjou
Dahna: Megami TanjouThere lived a wealthy family whose heirs were two daughters: Regine and Dahna. These two sisters were born with a strange magic that could enable them to summon the elements and other impossible things; it was this magic that many within the spiritual underworld lusted after, particularly Regine whose powers grew stronger with age. On Dahna's seventh birthday, the sisters' parents were murdered in a violent kidnapping attempt, but the wreckage separated the sisters and Dahna escaped. Dahna hid in secrecy, but eventually took shelter in a nearby village where she honed her magic and combat abilities under the guidance of the village sorcerer Magh. Ten years later, a mysterious invasion force led by an evil sorceress attacked her village and kidnapped Magh, prompting Dahna on her first battle.
