This game is twenty years old, but it's still one of the best racing games I've ever played. I recently replayed it on my PS2 about a year ago, and I have yet to find another racing game that's as satisfying to play as this one. Despite its age, the controls are as smooth as butter. It has one of the best soundtracks out there, composed by actual rock stars. I've sunk countless hours into this game, and will sink even more in the future. I'd gladly play this over Mario Kart any day!

I honestly was disappointed by the gameplay at first, but I grow fond of it since it was quite fun, challenging. And ofc, how could I not like the plot, the characters and stuff! Despite the desastrous development in which devs were put in difficulty with the stupid decisions from above, the game still is a gem IMO.
Probably one of the coolest combat racing games I've ever played. The music, the aesthetics, the characters, it's like a time capsule of what was "Cool" in the 2000s. I'd love to see this game on a modern game store with PC support, though I doubt Sony will ever agree to their old games being re-released

Need for Speed: Carbon
Need for Speed: CarbonNeed for Speed: Carbon, also known as NFS Carbon or NFSC, is an Electronic Arts video game in the Need for Speed series. Released in 2006, it is the tenth installment, preceded by Need for Speed: Most Wanted, succeeded by Need for Speed: ProStreet in release order and succeeded by Need for Speed: Undercover in chronological order. The locations of both Most Wanted and Carbon (Rockport and Palmont, respectively) are featured in the 2010 MMO game, Need for Speed: World. The PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance versions of the game are called Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City, set in a fictional city named Coast City with a significantly different storyline and also featuring different AI teammate abilities.[2] In 2009, a version of Own the City was also released on the Zeebo as a pre-installed game.[3] Need for Speed: Carbon is the final game released for all sixth-generation consoles (excluding PlayStation 2)

Midtown Madness 3
Midtown Madness 3Midtown Madness 3 is an open world racing/arcade sequel, part of the Midtown Madness series. For the first time in the series, the game was released only on the Xbox, with a Windows version rumoured for later release, but ultimately scrapped.[citation needed] The game was developed by DICE (of Battlefield 1942 fame) and published by Microsoft Game Studios. This marked a change from the developer of the first two games, Angel Studios (now Rockstar San Diego). Coincidentally, Midtown Madness 3 was released in 2003 against Midnight Club II, created by the developer of the first two games, Rockstar San Diego. The Xbox-only release and change of developer heralded a significant graphical improvement to maintain the console's graphical standards.

Cruis'n World
Cruis'n WorldCruis'n World is the 1996 sequel to the 1994 arcade racer Cruis'n USA. As the title implies, Cruis'n World allows players to race on various tracks around the world. The game also features more cars than Cruis'n USA. This game introduced stunts to the Cruis'n series. They served to dodge obstacles, take close curves and so. If the stunt makes the vehicle fly in the air, the game gives the player extra seconds of time. The game also uses small rocket boosts to speed up. The game was later released on the Nintendo 64 in 1998, being the best received of the Cruis'n ports.
