I first played this game for the PS2 around late-2004 to early-2005, pretty shortly after its North American release. At the time, I was pretty big into the InuYasha anime and when I saw this game sitting on the shelf of a video rental store, I didn't hesitate to rent it and see what it was like. While the gameplay is pretty mediocre, the story is absolutely stellar in regards to its relation to the anime and, in my personal opinion, is even superior to the source material's story.
Sadly the game wasn't around long, as it went out of production almost a year after its release, likely due to poor sales. As a result, the vast majority of InuYasha fans don't even know this game exists. And word of mouth can only do so much. So if this game were able to come to GOG, and especially if they were somehow able to get both the English and Japanese versions (the Japanese version does have some content that was cut and changed for the English release), it would give this game new life and another chance for the fandom to more easily find it and try it for themselves.
