It's kind of hilarious how many times I've 100%'d this game, both the main and DS games... Went through this by myself and with my dad countless times on the PS2, then got the DS version a little later in my childhood. I would love to see the GOG touch on this game because of issues with its PC version, there is a game breaking oversight that causes all race music to just... play the first song. It makes coming back to this game nowadays a little conflicting, because every version has its issues. Well, technically no version has a completely correct soundtrack order due to some other issues, but a re-release with glorious attention to detail can finally rectify that after decades of longing.

Driver 2: Back on the Streets
Driver 2: Back on the StreetsYou are an undercover driver, trying to survive amidst an international war between American and Brazilian gangs. The action takes you to Chicago, Las Vegas, Rio and Havana, all of which are depicted in detail, with curved roads added from the first game. As before, you have full control over the car as it storms around the streets. A new feature is the ability to get out of the car, and carjack others. This is especially useful when you have fallen victim to the advanced damage modeling. There is a full sequence of missions to complete, as well as some pre-set challenges and a Free Driving mode allowing you to explore at your leisure.

In single-player mode, players can switch turtles on the fly in order to accomplish the various tasks. Throughout some levels, the turtles also have racing sections over various terrains. As players progress through the game, they can find secret items, abilities, and power-ups, including the original late 1980's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game.

This iteration was co-developed by EA Black Box (rebranded Quicklime Games before closing in 2013) and EA Singapore. World was released worldwide on July 27, 2010. However, people who ordered a "Starter Pack" had an early "head-start" in the game, which started on July 20, 2010. Need for Speed: World, along with other EA free-to-play titles Battlefield Heroes, Battlefield Play4Free, and FIFA World, went offline on July 14, 2015.
