Good sequel. I like the first one more, but this one is great as well.
This time there are some visual modification options for your cars (not just paint), each char has 3 different bodies to unlock, several paint jobs and there are tons of rims.
However ... other than in part 1 you need to level each car separatly, meaning you have to use it for races over and over again to unlock performance modifications. That is kinda annoying.
Gone is the need for fuel, but time races are more about collecting time bonus coins rather than following the ideal path. Luckily, so far I haven't encountered a night level with rain where you could hardly see a thing in part 1.
The soundtrack is still good, a bit less rock and a bit more heavy on electronics.
The visuals improved quite a bit, they cut out some of the zoom effects, they would not fit the new graphic style. The controls are more forgiving, you can hit stuff without coming to a full stop as easy, especially with the nitro active.
