One of my favorites, had a magazine CD with the shareware version and played the hell outr of it. Years later I got a physical and complete version, loved it even more. A hidden gem that deserves more love.

I have fond memories of playing this game with my siblings. It's a hotseat two-player board game of sorts, in which you play twin princes Hodj and Podj, attempting to find and rescue the princesses Mish and Mosh. Each player searches for clues by traveling around the board on their turn and playing various minigames. I remember that a couple of the minigames taught me to play versions of mancala and Conway's Game of Life. Once a player found a clue, they had to look it up in the accompanying booklet (each prince had his own section with different clues, in order to keep the info from the other player), and could then go rescue the princesses and return for their reward -- unless the other player caught up to them and managed to wrest the princesses away in a head-to-head minigame, at which point the winning prince kicked the other prince in the shins* and scarpered. *according to the voiced narration... very important detail for my brain to remember, I'm sure
I loved playing this game as a kid. If I remember correctly there were 2 ways you could play the game. You could play a main mission of sorts, to where you had to save the princess, and it played like a board game, and to progress you had to win the games. A game within a game within a game. The other way to play was a free mode and you could select whatever game you wanted to play. There were 19 mini games total. There was Battleship, Mancala, and Cryptograms to name a couple. All the games were really fun and were based off themes. For example, the game of Simon Says is portrayed as an orchestra playing in an outside amphitheater, or Centipede, but you're an archer fighting off an army. I spent the most time on the scrambled image game putting the image back together, and I would try to go smaller and smaller. I would really like to be able to play this game again share it with my boys. They always ask about the games I played growing up and to have them be able to play them, and to have some amazing nostalgia, it would be nice to get this one up on GOG!

Byzantine: The Betrayal
Byzantine: The BetrayalByzantine: The Betrayal is a first-person adventure game in which the player takes the role of an American journalist, summoned to the city of Istanbul by an old college friend with the promise of a once in a lifetime story. By the time the player arrives police are already on the scene, his old friend, Emre, has run away. Players must use their investigative skills in order to uncover the secret he struggled, but failed, to reveal. Failure could mean death. The game plays in a typical first-person adventure fashion, providing 360º of freedom of movement around the player, as well as the ability to look up and down. Locations are presented as static images and talking is handled similar to that in the Tex Murphy series, with live cast and photo realistic surroundings. The game incorporates details of Turkey's history, as well as that of Southeastern Europe and so the player will have to make use of an abnormal piece of technology to investigate through the past and save yourself in the present, uncovering the secrets that lie behind Emre's disappearance.

Gregory Horror Show
Gregory Horror ShowA bizarre adventure game that follows the adventures of a main hero named Gregory whose purpose it is to collect lost souls in a haunted mansion. This hotel of the undead is filled with a bizarre group of guests -- along with Gregory and a mischievous little punk kid called James. Your goal is to steal the soul fragment (contained in milk bottles) that each guest holds. Doing so will, as Death informed you, get you out of the hotel, and apparently fill you in on why you were out walking about in the forest in the first place. You obtain the soul fragments by interacting with guests and solving basic puzzles. The game ends when you've run out of spirit as indicated by a spirit meter.
