There's something about this game that stuck with me mind through all these years. Despite its age, its magic never really left.
The game does a fantastic job doing tons of things with not much. It feels big and immersive, almost like what I'd be imagining myself when playing pretend as a kid. The world is hostile, you're just a kid, but you'll get through with perseverance and cleverness. Each section keeps things fresh and unique without getting boring. Oh, and don't get me started on those fantastically animated, gruesome, yet bloodless death animations.
Nowadays, it's hard to play the game again without owning the original PlayStation copy. I wish it was on PC!
