Story:Forbidden Siren 2 is the second installment in the Siren series.
The game tells the story of several characters who become trapped on Yamijima Island, an island off the coast of mainland Japan. On August 3, 1976, an underwater cable was cut, and all power to the island was lost. During the subsequent blackout, all of the islanders disappeared and the island became deserted. Twenty-nine years later, in 2005, a magazine editor called Mamoru Itsuki is visiting the island to conduct research for an article when the ferry he and a small group of other passengers are on capsizes, after it is hit by a red tidal wave. Shortly after his arrival, a group of soldiers crash land on the island after their helicopter has engine troubles. They must all find ways to survive the island's "monsters", the shibito.
The game is played through several character perspectives, each with his or her own strengths and weaknesses, through an overlapping timeline of the fateful night that alternates between the present and the past. The story can unfold in different ways with, in many cases, two or more different versions of a level, which will have slightly different objectives than the original. The first Siren game is a Horror masterpiece classic and I desperately want to play this game too but it was never released in America! It looks super interesting!
I absolutely loved the first game, it's an absolute horror classic in my opinion. I have never been able to play the second one and it would make me so happy to try this one out

Definition of sh!tting your pants - Part 2.
Hopefully, Sony is open minded when it comes to Siren. This is basically an abandoned ware! Clearly this game was released in the wrong time! Clearly competition to the RE & Silent Hill games back in the day, but man, the gaming market in early 2000s was overwhelming!
A series that was so underappreciated when they were originally released. The original Siren remains one of the creepiest gaming experiences I ever had, and this second one I hear is even creepier. Would love to check it out. If there is a series that deserves a reappraisal it's this series right here.

At first this game was daunting for me to approach (especially with the predecessor in mind), but it turned out to be an incredibly fun experience that I've sunk many hours into.
It's a shame it's never seen a rerelease and getting ahold of the game is troubling, here in the US requiring copies and hardware to be imported from elsewhere so it'd be amazing to get this game in a more accessible form and more people can really appreciate this gem
An absolute masterpiece. Easily one of the best horror games ever made. Siren 1 was great, but this one is even better with many Quality of Life improvements. The atmosphere is asphyxiating. And I love the lore and the folkloric, mythological element of the game. The feeling of being alone in a cursed, remote Japanese island is real.
If we might add the first game why not it's sequel these games look super interesting and scary. Also made by one of the developers of the silent hill games which will also drive my choice to buy a game and play through it.

Shin Megami Tensei II retains all the gameplay features of the previous game. The player is able to summon demons, fuse them to create more powerful ones, make them participate in battles, talk to random enemies and receive information from them, etc. The combat is turn-based, and the player explores the complex, maze-like dungeons from a first-person perspective view. Like in the first game, the Law, Chaos, and Neutral alignments play an important role: during the course of the game, the player will have to make choices that influence the alignment of the protagonist, steering the storyline into different directions.
