I first looked for this game because of Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis. That they were able to combine what's good about Final Fantasy and Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis and its engaging story made this game a gem to play. Sure, the RNG-dependent Gadgeteer can be annoying, true. But it doesn't detract from the fact that it's the job that give Moogles the most stat growth. And, Vieras were just lethal.
best game ever played! the story and characters was just all fantastic! another FF game created on a GBA was fun challenging and hands down fun! i still need to play the other tactic 2 one. another gem that needs to be preserved.

Its battle system is turn-based, allowing the player to choose commands for their party of up to four characters. Each of the eight characters has a different set of preferred weapons and armor, as well as techniques, suited to the character's job. Phantasy Star was first released in Japan for the Master System on December 20, 1987. It was the most expensive game for the Master System in every market, its price being driven by the large 4 megabit chip, the save battery, and a concurrent chip shortage across the industry. In Japan, the game was difficult to find in stores. Sega often got requests from fans for a Mega Drive port, so they eventually shipped a limited release for the Mega Drive as part of a contest in 1994.
