Sweetest soundtrack in RTS. Fix the main menu issues, add widescreen support, put all three discs + map packs in one package, get multiplayer up and it'd be sick. Your choice is simple, for the moment.

This game got me into the strategy genre and it is probably one of the most fun RTS games I've ever played. I'd love to see it brought back because setting it up to actually work on modern systems manually is a pain and relies on quite a bit of 3rd party software. I think Emperor is a game that absolutely deserves to be preserved.

One of the best early 3D RTS games and a great continuation of Westwood's Dune series. Seeing this game basically become abandonware is so disappointing to me, this underrated gem needs to be made available again so more people can discover it! Westwood fans should play this.

Imagine Dune setting with CnC Generals engine. A very good RTS, cool story, cool units. With 5 smaller houses to choose from and has impact on the battles. Mighty worm attacks i remember! Would be great to bring it back. Was stable and quite bug-free!

This is the game I am hoping to see one day in GoG. The cinematics were impressive and the gameplay was fantastic, extremely fun. The graphics were pretty good for the games of the time. This was the game that got me into reading Dune and learning about its lore.

A good Dune game, I even have it at home yet, funny moments, good soundtrack and the only "but" I found was the game asked the CD to play it, I have the CDs but the use is noticeable

If we don't get this game on GoG it will be a terrible loss. I remember some of the missions that was quite unique and very well written. Good gameplay, story, music and its Dune universe!

Amazing RTS, unforgettable hours fighting Harkonens. Great music, a must-have on GOG! Emperor: Battle for Dune is the best RTS of all time for a number of reasons. First, it is a very well-balanced game. Each of the factions has its own strengths and weaknesses, and no one faction is clearly superior to the others. This makes for a very fair and competitive game. Second, Emperor: Battle for Dune has a lot of depth. There are many different units and buildings to choose from, and each one has its own unique abilities. This allows for a lot of strategic diversity. You can tailor your army to your own playstyle, and there are many different ways to win the game. Third, Emperor: Battle for Dune is a very challenging game. The AI is very competent, and you will need to be at your best if you want to win. This makes for a very rewarding experience. Finally, Emperor: Battle for Dune is a very moddable game. There are many different mods available that add new units, buildings, and gameplay mechanics. This allows you to customize the game to your own liking. Overall, Emperor: Battle for Dune is a great game that offers a lot of replay value. It is a must-play for any fan of the RTS genre.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. Dune
DuneDune is a 1992 video game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name. Developed by Cryo Interactive, is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune blended adventure with economic and military strategy, and is considered by many the most immersive Dune computer game. Loosely following the story of the novel, the game casts the player as Paul Atreides, with the ultimate goal of driving the Harkonnen from Planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military, and later, ecology through the native Fremen tribes. As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.

Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty
Dune II: The Building of a DynastyDune II is often considered the first mainstream modern real-time strategy game and established many conventions of the genre. Even though set in Frank Herbert's famous Dune universe, the game is only loosely connected to the plot of any of the books or the films based from them. Controlling either of the three Houses, the player must fight a number of battles against the other Houses. In the early levels, the goal is simply to earn a certain number of credits, while in the later missions, all enemies must be destroyed. The single resource in the game is the Spice, which must be collected by harvesters. The spice is converted to credits in a refinery, which are then spent to construct additional buildings and units. There are two terrain types: buildings can only be constructed on stone, while the Spice is only found on sand. However, units moving on sand attract the large sandworms of Dune, who are virtually indestructible and can swallow even large units whole. As levels progress, new and more advanced buildings and units are made available, including structures like a radar station, a repair facility or defense turrets and, for units, various ground troops, light vehicles and tanks. Each House can construct one unique special unit, and, after building a palace improvement, can unleash a unique palace effect.
