Back in high school, I got my hands on the original Duke Nukem 3D game. I managed to convince someone on a bulletin board to send it to me over dial-up (remember those slow speeds?). Back then, there were no limits on how much data you could send in an email.
My friends and I spent countless hours playing and modding this game. I’m sure we clocked in hundreds of hours into it. I even created a bunch of multiplayer maps that we would play until we were bored out of our minds.
I’m a huge fan of Duke Nukem 3D, and I’d be thrilled if the updated version was released on GoG. I have so many fond memories of playing it, and I’m excited about the new quality-of-life improvements. It would be amazing to have a DRM-free copy of this classic game for me and my kids to enjoy for years to come.
(Don’t worry, the developers have gotten their fair share of money from me. I’ve bought this game multiple times since then).
