Story:Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is a tactical role-playing video game and the first game in the Disgaea series. Battle gameplay takes place on a map divided into a square grid. The player controls a squad of humanoid units and monsters, which each occupy a single square of the grid and do combat with a group of enemies. Depending on the character and attack selected, the player will be able to deal damage to a specific enemy unit or a designated region of the map. I played this first on my PS2. At first, I was a bit skeptical. But that changed as soon as Flonne entered the scene (Nin Nin Nin).
The actual game was quickly completed. But beyond that, there was so much to explore...The Assembly...but especially the Item World.
So, when the game finally became available for PC, it was an instant purchase.
I can't say exactly how many hours I spent with it (over 200 on PC alone).
It's a real shame that this super game will probably never be available on GoG.
