Story:The game is a first-person shooter that follows the plot of the first Die Hard film. Players take the role of John McClane, and try to stop the terrorist attack on the Nakatomi Plaza. The game's levels are based on the sets from the film. The various action scenes from the film have also been recreated.
The game expands on the film's plot, and adds a few missions not found in the film, such as escorting a SWAT team around the building or saving various hostages stranded on various floors of the building.Show more

As a game based on a movie IP goes this is probably one of, if not, the most faithful to ever be produced. From the very first intro cutscene there is no doubt as to where you are, who you are and what you need to do. What immediately jumps out is the attention to detail. Character models, locations, missions etc are all movie authentic. Weapons are even held on the left hand side of the screen because Bruce Willis/John McClane was left handed, a detail that many don't even notice from the actual movie. Even over 20 years later I still remember this game and the fun I had being immersed into the actual movie, not something loosely based on the film or a weird spin-off or prequel story etc. This game, for all it's low budget quirks, actually let you "play the movie".
I'm not voting for this game, only share my memory.
Game should be renamed "Die Hard - BUG-atomy Plaza" because of the bugs in the game engine.
The voice of John McClane is fair to mediocre compared to the movie.
The only thing they did right was Sgt. Al Powell.
Too expensive back then for the quality of the game.
I would like for GOG to stay away from this game. There's no point in preserve this game.
If a 'Die Hard' game needs to be preserved, please make it so for the "Die Hard 3" movie game.
