A game that will delight manga fans!
But what can I say about this game? Graphically, it's a slap in the face for a manga game - I'd even say it's the best manga game adapted for consoles, with an exceptional story mode and a story to take your breath away.
Power, that's what comes to mind to describe the game! I'm already halfway through the story mode, and frankly the battles are beautiful, dynamic and so epic!
- The ability to switch characters
- Counter-attacking (i.e. repelling enemies when they spam you)
- The support system
- Gameplay accessible to all, novice and expert alike.
SoulCaliburSoulCalibur is a weapon-based 3D fighting game developed by Project Soul and produced by Namco. It is the second game in the Soul series, preceded by Soul Edge (1996). Originally released in arcades in 1998, it ran on the Namco System 12 hardware. In 1999 it was ported to the Dreamcast with improved graphics and new features. The North American version was released in September 1999 as a launch title for the Dreamcast and was part of the successful launch of the new console. It became available as a downloadable title on Xbox 360's Xbox Live Marketplace in 2008.
The title brought many innovations to the fighting game genre that include a heavy emphasis on weapons and a unique eight-way movement system. Fighting ForceFighting Force players control one of four characters. They move through urban and science fiction environments, battling waves of oncoming enemies with weapons ranging from fists and bottles to knives, chairs and guns. The player can make some choices as to which territory to travel through.
The four characters have various reasons for taking on Dr. Zeng, a criminal mastermind with an army at his command.
