I had the demo on a CD. There was and still is nothing like it: prisoners vie to survive in a vehicle combat/escape competition. The premise is intriguing and the atmosphere is immersive. The weapons and environmental hazards are unusual and interesting. If I recall correctly, it also had announcements similar to (and predating) Unreal Tournament. I loved it when I activated a shockwave by shooting a cone when a competitor drove by and the game announced "Mercy Kill!" or when I caused speedy rivals to crash into my evanescent wall of solid exhaust. Combat and gameplay were very good. This game deserves release on GOG, it deserves exposure, and hopefully someday it will get a modern remake (without all the trashy things that modern games seem to come with nowadays--so, you know, the likes of Nightdive Studios should handle such a remake).
