This game allowed me to experience the Pikes Peak Hill Climb course for the first time in a simulator setting and my mind was blown on just how challenging it can be to concentrate for so long! I feel that Colin McRae: DiRT had the best balance between simulation-caliber nuance and arcade-racer-style simplicity out of the rest of the DiRT series. It embodied CodeMasters' trademark (of that time) of delivering no-nonsense, jump-in-and-race, realistic racing experiences to racing game fans and I was all for it. I had it on the PlayStation 3 first, but it was so good, I bought it on Steam to play on the PC. However, it wasn't long before it was taken off Steam, due to "lack of operating system support" but it was later discovered it was because of licensing. Even though CodeMasters (now EA) has made a return to no-nonsense rally simulation with the Dirt Rally (now EA WRC) series, I still wish to go back to simpler times when you can still experience rally with a great physics model without needing to set up a steering wheel rig. I also heard that people who still own a standalone PC copy of the game can play on current Windows PCs with a little finessing of the config files. With GoG's DRM-Free distribution, in addition to their effort to ensure that games work "out-of-the-box" with in-house support, seeing Colin McRae: DiRT on GoG would be amazing to see and a no-brainer purchase.
I love this game, unfortunately is almost impossible to find it to buy. It has an incredible variety of cars and game modes, a respectable number of tracks. Please, GOG add this game on the store :)

Jet Set Radio HD
Jet Set Radio HDJet Set Radio HD is the latest remaster in a string of Dreamcast "hits" to see new life on download platforms, but Sega has been insistent that they've learned its lessons. The publisher has emphasized how hard it's trying to get things right this time, and for many, it couldn't have chosen a better game. Jet Set Radio was part of Sega's onslaught of new properties with an emphasis on flash and style during the second wave of Dreamcast software, but it might be one of the more obscure. It's a game that almost everyone has heard of, but I think few have actually played. This was remedied somewhat with 2002's Xbox sequel Jet Set Radio Future. Unlike Sonic Adventure or the arcade hit Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio HD is the chance for many to finally play a game they've only heard about. Nostalgia has the side effect of high expectations though, and Jet Set Radio HD just can't meet them. While the flash and style of Jet Set Radio HD remains untouched and unvarnished by a dozen years of progress, the rest of it can't stand up to scrutiny. Squirrely controls, camera catastrophes, and nonsensical level design make Jet Set Radio HD a better memory than game.

Sega Rally Championship 2
Sega Rally Championship 2Sega Rally 2 is the sequel to Sega's hit arcade game, Sega Rally. This game, like it's predecessor, is based on Rally racing. Rally racing is unique in that races take place on both race tracks and off-road courses. The courses in this game reflect this nicely. Some take place in the desert or forest, others take place in cities. The cars in this game are all actual rally cars, with manufacturers from Europe and Japan both well represented. You do not get to see very many of them at one time, however, since rally races are typically time-based events. In this game, you are not competing directly against the other cars, you simply have to have the best time through the course. So, during any race you will usually see a handful of other cars on the track.
