Breath of Fire 6 never came to the West, so that's one reason to bring it to GOG. However, it was also a mobile-style gacha type RPG with a big emphasis on microtransactions, so it's a bit complicated. On top of that, it has virtually none of the devs involved with the first 5 games, the art style was changed dramatically, and the combat was very simplistic with only occasional nods to its predecessors (like townbuilding, fishing, and classic BoF costumes/skins). Having played it on Android in both beta and release prior to its shutdown, it didn't really feel much like a BoF game, but I also couldn't understand any of the story, and I wish I did! The nicest thing I can say is the soundtrack's great, the characters seem interesting, and it led to Capcom acknowledging BoF a little more with a still-working series website portal. But given 6's bad reputation and shutdown due to bad performance, it also feels like it's severely hampered a proper BoF revival. I hope now however, that enough time has past where BoF can come back in full glory. A proper Breath of Fire VI (with a roman numeral) is the true dream!

I know everybody was disappointed by this game being mobile cash grab garbage, but it's part of my favorite game series, and I would like to be able to play it myself and see how disappointing it is. The Art is nice like the rest of the series at least
You know what, why the heck not. Never played this entry; I never got to play the fifth entry either, to be fair, because I never owned a PS2. But I want to see what all the fuss is about. Breath of Fire is possibly my most favorite RPG title, so I want to experience the ugly along with the good. Hit me with your worst shot, Capcom!

The reason this failed was the greedy like approach they went with it. it felt like a Chinese rip off game, just stole the breath of fire name and threw a bunch of gambling mechanics in, and that was it(tried very little to be part of the lore). a really poor style and approach(the gameplay style felt really off too). honestly in my opinion this should have never be considered BOF6 and ever part of the series. If they actually learned from BOF 3 and 4, put more effect into it. less gambling/mobile approach, it would have been soo much better. we could have only wished it was.

if GoG gets their hands on this game i would be forever greatful! only japan only gets the best games that the people in the western never get to experience or enjoy! if i could play this game i would so be on cloud 9 for sure! please make this happen! i want to know whats in the game!
I wont lie Im voting solely for Gilliam & Jubei. they cute lookin and look like the only characters that actually fit the BoF universe and I wanna save them from the defunct gacha prison their stuck in. that and maybe also somehow make this a functioning game lol
Sadly - the fact that we never got to officially even try this in the west sucks.... I get that it's a gacha game - but I'm sure something can be done about that..... I hate that I had to completely miss out on an installation of my favourite game series.... whether it was bad or not - it was breath of fire! bringing this back without the gacha system would solve the majority of the complaints

As a long time BoF fan, I'd like to see how bad they did fail on BoF 6, according to some critics opinions and have an own view about it. For me, first 4 of the BoF series (especially 3 & 4 ) were absolute masterpieces. I did finish 5 as well but besides of the story, I didnt like anything. If Capcom tried to make a gacha style game of BoF, I'd like to try. If it contained micro transactions it could be possible to offer a buy to play game without any micro transactions, at all. In game purchases from the original game could be replaced with summon tickets as quest rewards or something like that. For me, its just the curiousity to play the game. I don't want to pre-judge based on others opinions, as I don't share opinions often enough. I'd love to see GOG succeeding on this hard task. :)

Breath of Fire is one of my all time favorite RPG series and 6 is the only one I never got to play. Hopefully GOG can deliver it one day and I'll gladly play it, even if it ends up being bad in the end lol

Those games also need your vote!

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger.
