Sega Rally ChampionshipSega Rally Championship is a 1994 arcade racing game developed by AM5 on the Sega Model 2 board. The unique selling point of Sega Rally was the ability to drive on different surfaces (including asphalt, gravel and mud), with different friction properties, with the car's handling changing accordingly. As the first racing game to incorporate this feature, Sega Rally is considered to be one of the milestones in the evolution of the racing game genre.
The music for the arcade game was composed by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, while the Sega Saturn port's soundtrack was done by Naofumi Hataya and the Guitar were played by Joe Satriani.
Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding SimulatorA motorcycle-racing simulator with an abundance of options, Tourist Trophy lets players choose from over 100 bikes from makers like Buell, Ducati, and Kawasaki, and race them on one of 35 real and fantasy tracks. Custom rider option let you choose how your character looks and handles a bike, while a quick-play "Arcade" mode lets you pick a race and go. Play a one-on-one race, a time trial, or a regular race that allows you to race using modified bikes.
"Tourist Trophy" mode challenges you to a variety of races, but before you hit the pavement, you'll have to earn a license. There are four license levels that you can earn: Novice, Junior, Expert, and Super. New motorcycles and equipment become available with each new level. Once a license has been secured, move onto "Challenge" mode and earn a bike by competing in race events that also open up extra bikes and gear as rewards.
Tourist TrophyTourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator is a 2006 motorcycle racing video game. It was designed by Polyphony Digital, the same team behind the popular Gran Turismo auto racing series. Tourist Trophy is one of only four titles for the PlayStation 2 that is capable of 1080i output, another being Gran Turismo 4, the game engine of which is heavily used in Tourist Trophy.
Tourist Trophy was first released in China on January 26, 2006, then in Japan on February 2, 2006. The NTSC edition was officially released on April 4, 2006 with seven extra motorcycles, new riding gear, seven bonus background music tracks, enhanced visual effects, an exclusive "Semi-Pro Mode" and bike profiles. The PAL edition was launched on June 1, 2006 in Australia, and in Europe the next day. Test Drive: Le MansLe Mans offers a number of play modes. The Arcade mode is designed for a quick thrill. It can satisfy the action junkies need for an adrenaline high. In it, the cars are completely indestructible, putting the emphasis on the racing. As the name implies, the Challenge races offer a bunch of difficult obstacles to overcome. Beating the opponent cars will open up a new series of Challenge tracks. The Time Attack mode pits the racer against the clock. Victory in the Time Attack mode will unleash a new fleet of cars.
The Championship mode is a little bit deeper. In it, the player will participate in an entire racing season, culminating in the famous 24 Heures Du Mans. The Championship mode starts with the GT2 class of car. Upon beating the first series of races, the player will be able to move on to the other car types.
