Story:A Bug's Life is a video game based on the Disney/Pixar film of the same name. It was released for various systems in 1998 and in 1999. The game's storyline is similar to that of the movie, with a few changes. After completing levels the player can unlock real clips from the movie. Its Game.com, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast versions were cancelled. Though the film was Roddy McDowall's final theatrical performance, the game was his final work before his death.Show more

Many people would write this off as a simple kids movie tie in game. But I say that the Seed system puts it over the edge. Basically, you collect and plant different seeds for different effects such as creating platforms or spawning berries. They can also be upgraded like giving you stronger berries and many of them are required to get the collectables of which there's many. It is faithful to the movie will making good use of improvisation. It's made by Travellers Tales, now known as TT Games who makes the Lego games and are usually good with their movie adaptations. When I got the PC version, I had issues with the controls sticking, yet I still kept playing the game, beating it. I would be interested if this gets re-released, now being unhindered by the control issues.
The first game I ever played on my very own PS1 was A Bug’s Life. I still remember unboxing the console, feeling that rush of excitement, and diving into the world of Flik and the ants. It wasn’t just a game—it was my game. Clumsy jumps, tricky platforming, collecting those precious seeds… every level felt like an adventure. The colorful worlds, the movie’s charm, and that nostalgic PS1 magic made it unforgettable. It might not have been the most groundbreaking game, but to me, it was pure joy.
Still haven't beat this game to this day, but I would like to rectify that one day, so let's get this on here! As far as I remember, it was a pretty rad 3D platformer collect-a-thon where you're teeny tiny (de_rats, anyone?). I vaguely remember getting this in a store at night, while my brothers got Starcraft (one of my favorite RTS games) around the same time.

Fable II
Fable IIFable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled. The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game. The player can also get married both same and opposite sex and bring up children to childhood but no farther, expressions are a lot more interactive with NPC's than before
