There were some great mods for WL2. I recall the game very fondly.
Warlords 2 and the BattleZone series are my most ardent wishes from GOG.

Fond memories of Warlords 2 (not deluxe version). Played countless hours hot-seat. Some would say it's too simple & graphics low res 2D but it's all about the game-play, and this game had it by the bucketful.
