Summary on Metacritic: TowerFall is an archery combat platformer for up to 4 players. It's a local party game centering around hilarious, intense versus matches. The core mechanics are simple and accessible, but combat is fast and fierce. It's best played competitively with friends, cross-legged on the floor within punching distance of each other. You're correct about the main site. I posted the request quickly just not to forget so I have not looked at it deeper (and was surprised it was not already requested by another player).
Personnally I couldn't wait and purchased it on Steam. This game is insane fun with 3-4 players. But throwing money into steam is really painful to me... I'm ready to buy it again on GOG whenever it is there.

Looks like a great game. It'd be a shame if I never played it because of a bad decision on the developer's part.
