Blopayo I still remember have been played the demo of a CD from a magazine countless times. One of the best shooters for PC i've ever played. Please GOG, bring it back.
DaveLong This is a fantastic shooter and really is one of a kind. Housemarque should really revisit it for an HD update but if that can't happen, a GOG release would be perfect. I think a lot of folks slept on this game but would be blown away by it even today.

asprinz Awesome for its time, both graphics and I really liked the soundtrack too. I keep hoping this will be made playable for modern OS's.... In the meantime my Reap disc sits there, as it has over the years, waiting..
Bluth53 Still got the Original CD but lacking a system capable of running it. Would love to buy it again and finally beat it. Still to this day, I haven't seen anything as beautiful as The Reap

frodofreeman Just found this disc on my shelf at the back lol! Forgot all about it, but looked it up and remember how good it played and looked (especially for 1997). Shame it doesn't run properly, so yes would totally like it updated for win 7. So many games on steam now (millions), and yet none like this? Just wow! Could be an untapped budget market there...

XzavierHyde Housemarque are independent (currently publishing through Ubisoft) but some of their properties (notably Stardust) are owned by Sony. Hoping for The Reap to make a return, though.

Death-Incarnate The game works in windowed mode on Windows 8, but sound playback has some issues.
If you have Windows XP, you just have to disable audio acceleration to fix the sound problem, and you can play it in full screen.
I ripped the whole game's soundtrack (by playing it without sounds and recording my sound card's output!) and put it online along with the gameplay of some levels (I'm working on recording the whole game). Search for the "the Reap, playlist" on YouTube if you want to check it out!

fisk0 Housemarque are still independent from Sony, aren't they? Most of their recent games have been PlayStation exclusives (Super Stardust for PSP/PS3/Vita and Resogun for PS4), but if they are still an independent developer I think this could and should get to GOG.
Althin I have typed to the devolopers abut the game they said they where busy with new games but it might be out on gog but its just still in the air we will upt our blog if anything shows up. plz add this game its sick!

PaulEMoz I really love this game, it's my favourite Zaxxon-esque game ever. I own the disc game, but it won't work on my Win7 laptop. I can still get it to run on my Vista laptop, which is great, but the time will come when that's no longer in operation. I'd really like to own this game through GOG.
damarcus At least Housemarque still exists, so there could be done something about the technical issues if they should agree to re-publish The Reap via GOG. Unfortunately this game disappeared somewhat in the crowd, as you can see here with the wish counter and generally on the Web. Would be nice though by GOG to introduce hidden gems to a wider public though.
keshon it's one of the most addictive scroller I've ever played in my life. I still do have the backup image of this great game. But it's quite hard to run it on modern OS :(

Retrostage The Reap is one of the best PC shmups of all time. The devs are well known: Housemarque from Finland! They brought us Stardust (Amiga), Super Stardust HD (PS3) and Outland (PS360).
