ZackZee I know the lost vikings 1 and 2 are on blizzards site, but i was hoping for a DRM-Free way to play the Windows versions
caioabecia Lost vikings 1 and 2 are available free on blizard website.
Yesterday I downloaded both... so nostalgic!
All you have to do:
1 Enter on: www.blizzard.com/es-es/download/
2 Then click on the download link "Colección arcade de Blizzard®"
3 This will download the file "Blizzard-Arcade-Collection-Setup.exe"
4 That`s it! Install it, download the zsnes emulator then in Zsnes open the rom you want to play in the folder "../Blizzard Arcade Collection\assets\roms\SNES"
I'm against piracy... and this way it`s legal because Blizzard itself is providing the ROM's.

Cadaver747 Now with the introduction of Hellfire addon for Diablo there is a slight chance for a SNES port of The Lost Vikings 2 for $5.99 along with the original The Lost Vikings as a free bonus! I want to believe ;)

RaginRondo I got this on CD-Rom when I was young and didn't even know it was on consoles. I stared out the window all day waiting for the FedEx truck to deliver it, I was so excited! Awesome game, still very fun and keeping the tricky puzzles of the original, and including new excellent voiceovers. Fang and Scorch are fun new characters. However, not that I've seen pictures of the SNES version, I think I might prefer those graphics, as they are more in keeping with the style of the first game. The graphics in Norse by Norsewest are kind of, meh, strange 3d. Oh, and the SNES version got some fun, hilarious cheats that were excised from the PC version for some reason. Not fair!
harry-jerry My sister actually got me a used copy of Vikings2 for christmas! I had a childhood friend and we used to play it alot. So funny. Now, getting it to run on 64-bit windows might be totally different thing.
adamdotpng No way they can get a console game for PC, even with emulators. Good thing they made a PC version of this game. And I say it's better; it has voice-overs.
etb Possibly the snes version with zsnes. Graphics are much better!
