Yeah my 800 died. Still pine for this game. Nothing has ever come close to it...

I kept breaking my C64 out of storage to play this game. It simply never gets old. You start by building a fleet (defining all the ship details) before taking them into a really nice tatical battle system. The game made it very easy to imagine the epic space battles taking place (graphics were minimal) with its complex and extremely rewarding turn based combat mechanics. You could tweak what your foes were as well.

I played the heck out of this on my friend's Apple ][, then i bought it and played the heck out of it on my Atari 800XL.
