VINT64 while being a fan of deep fighter (2000) since childhood, got interested in its "prequel" when learned about its existence. Found the game on myabandonware site and spent several of nice evenings while walking through it. While deep fighter is still better in all aspects, I liked sub culture and I think it deserves to be unearthed and put under the spotlight again

tom_4070 @xman1 - I'm pretty sure the GOG compat wizards could find a way to invoke a vitual disk drive through an open source mounting tool in a way that is invisible to the end user. And they should! This is one of the goat games from my childhood.

xman1 Like Outpost, this game will likely never appear here on GoG. Why? Used redbook CD-Audio, not a compressed file, so how do you emulate that? You can't really. Upvoted it anyway.

Leviance @Reuding3r - In case you ever see this, there was a patch that had to be downloaded to fix the game crashing on that mission. It was very small - I had it on a floppy disc.

lewiji @KajQrd well the game runs with 144fps no problem but it seems like the physics engine is running at like, 1/4 of the speed it should be - everything is smooth but slow-mo, moving/turning the sub takes ages, it's weird
