Slave Zero completed
Was the game removed? I can't find it in the store. :/
Loved throwing cars, rigs, light poles, and people at enemies when out of ammo. Likewise the ability to radiated stomp damage, and to roar like a monster. Music was also awesome. It was like a free environment version of Armored Core 2.
Slave Zero is the perfect game for when you just want to blow stuff up. Definitely GOG material.
People should vote for this game. I really need to play this game!
That was a really fun game. It was short (which is not necessarily a bad thing), some of the design choices were strange to say the least and the final boss sucked, but this is a good shooter, much better than SHOGO, for example.
Yeah I had this on DreamCast and it looked really good but trying to play it put me off trying to play FPSes with a controller for life!
So I really want to have a go at the PC version with proper mouse and keyboard controls like a civilised person!
Loved the demo when it was new. Looking foward to the full version on gog!
I played demo so many times! I would love to see it here!
Shogo & Slave Zero. Perfect 3D action games from 90's.
With the release of Pacific RIm later this year, Slave Zero would be a Great Game to release on GOG.
I cracked this to run on my win XP laptop, but is was a hassle plus. The GOG installer would remove much of the irritation from the procedure of getting-the-game-to-run.
I'd love to see a proper no-hassle version on GOG. I am able to get my original copy to work in Windows 7, but it took a bit of effort and won't run in 32-bit colour depth.
According to that Wikipedia page, 'A fan following has developed a number of CD cracks in order to make the game compatible on newer systems' -- it links to megagames.com/fixes/slave-zero

Besides the game has awesome music. www.mobygames.com/game/windows/slave-zero
Yes! Slave Zero. Bring it! Now! please
I agree with GabrielAngelos, this game NEEDS to be on GOG!! I would buy it straight away. I used to love playing the demo as a kid. I found it hard to begin with, so I just used to mess around throwing cars and people into oblivion. This game is an absolute classic. Its one of the best 3rd person action games ever, featuring great atmosphere, lush visuals with colourful neon-lit cities, and vigorously frantic, yet fluid & addictive gameplay, and it deserves no less than a place on the GOG list!
I have two retail CD's of this game and it's an awful shame that I've never been able to get it to run on anything NT based. It seems to maybe use undocumented aspects of Win98. The game will run on Win98, but will not run on Win98 in a VM ~though maybe this is Direct X related? I wish this game would come to GOG. A simple search on youtube for SLAVE ZERO will show ample reason for reviving it here.
yeah. Slave Zero demo was rockin'. Third person sci-fi ninja urban action ^^
The Windows version was rather crash-prone IIRC, it would be super if GOG could get it fixed for modern Windows like they did for Messiah.
I wish this game to be here so much, just thinking of all the fun i had playing it (picking up cars throwing them around, same thing with people...) ;)
