You can order a drm-free beta version on their homepage so I don't see any reason why they would not be willing to release it on gog. I am however not sure if you would be able to receive a steam key via gog as well.

The developers may also not be aware of gog's "Games in Development" program yet.

Would absolutely love to see this game here! Very nostalgic, reminds me of Secret of Mana for the SNES.
