MysterD Sacred 2: Gold Edition is a bundle of Action-RPG's that contains both Sacred 2: Fallen Angel [base game] + Sacred 2: Ice & Blood [expansion pack]. Sacred 2: Ice & Blood was never released in the USA, due to issues with CDV and Deep Silver. CDV is insolvent and still hold the USA distribution rights owner for Sacred 2 products; meanwhile Deep Silver is the Overseas territory distribution rights owner (for Portugal, Sweden, South Africa, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, UK, Italy, Spain & France) + new owner of the entire Sacred license. We, the gamers, would love to see the distribution rights problems solved and would love to see this ARPG on GOG!

Deepsilver is a part time licenser nothing more. Dr. Frank M. Welsch is the rights manager of all licenses for Sacred/Studio 2 and Ascaron
Producer was CDV in US and in EU Ascaron/Deepsilver/Kochmedia.

Ive got same problem, I bought Sacred 2 CZ when it was released, but expansion was available only in EN...So I hope that gold edition will be here on GOG. I will buy it :)

PKodon Yes, here, please. DRM-free on Gamer's Gate is still not as good as GOG.com, as Gamer's Gate insists that you install only through their downloader (it starts installation as soon as it's downloaded). Assuming the setup program doesn't start another program and quit right away, you have to switch to the directory it was downloaded to, and copy it elsewhere, before you click next to install; otherwise, when the setup program ends, the downloader obfuscates it somehow (so it won't execute), and renames it. Running the downloader again renames it to setup.exe and un-obfuscates it so it will run, but only until it's finished again. (All this is assuming you chose to keep the setup files on your system.) Copying the setup.exe, keeping the files, and moving the rest of the files to the directory where you saved the setup.exe will net you an installable copy without need to use the downloader, but it's a step you shouldn't have to take.

Starkrun Instant buy! the DRM on retail is such a pain to work though. The game is amazing though and defiantly deserves a place here on GOG next to its younger sibling :)

mosqueira.v I have the retail disc of Sacred 2, but I could not play the expansion because of compatibility and region release. Definitely I will buy the game again, just to play the expansion and have GOG version.

CoronaBunny A great game. I only ever got it without the expansion (PS3 - hangs head in shame). But it was awesome even on that.
utku85 I think sacred games really deserve a go. I am currently playing sacred gold and aside from some of the minor bugs ( considering them minor is my opinion though) this game really is an addicting one. Second game also seems much more promising in most aspects comparing to the first game. I hope the gog team add this game in the games list soon.
Merciferous This game is simply splendid. It is a treat to behold, and is much more in line with that of Two Worlds than that of Diablo. I had the Xbox 360 version, and it was amazing just how much time me and a friend put into this game without even thinking about it. What makes it so inviting, is the pick up and play atmosphere with a deep character customization and huge open world that you GROW to love, rather than being FORCED to love. If you have the chance to play this gem, you will understand what I mean.
011284mm @goodrobbo, $100? I know I could dig up $10 for this with ease if GOG could get it, and rid of the stupid DRM it came with. I had the Gold edition on PC when it came out, but due to crashes with my low powered PC never finished the game and the install DRM is a nightmare to deal with so...
hex65000 While still not the most polished game ever - The voice acting is much better than the first one. It's still a well done "kill-things/get-stuff" action RPG. I played the heck out of the XBox360 version and I'd like to see this make it to GOG as well. Especially Since I think Ascarion(sp) imploded a while back, and the CD version is loaded with SecureROM yuckiness. This would fall into the category as a 'on release' buy in my book. :)

bengeddes Yep, this is exactly what's needed. The Gold editon is the full game plus expansion and it has not reached the audience it deserves (and the audiences who want it). It's also the only way to use the community patch. Very much needed on GOG!
