I think the newly released Extended Edition is worthwhile. For the better compatibility with modern systems, higher resolution support, yada yada.
As long as you can do so without regional pricing. If you must resort to that then, then I'd rather you didn't get the game. Principles come first. Doing what's right comes first.
mystikmind2000 I am a turn based strategy fan, mostly not a fan of RTS games, hate warcraft3, starcraft, whatever. Rise of nations is one of the precious few RTS i do like, along with Total annihilation, battlezone 2 and the first age of empires game - just my luck only one of those is on GOG so far (total anihilation)
Steamblurb Steam has recently announced an extended edition, which will be available in June. I'm not sure how to feel about this.
