ssihound This Game is one of the last huge map dungeon games before the mmorg took off. I know I have voted multiple times for this game to get 'FIXED' by GOG.com. This game really deserves to given to all the generations of Gamers. the Graphics are still good and the gameplay reflects a lot of the interest that the DnD community has caused WotC to revise the 5e rules.

flamescreen I'd vote for it if it recieved a graphics overhaul/update to modern standards(eg 3d models for characters and landscapes). Of my fave games of the 20th Century. Btw way NOT to do this: Realms of Arkania Startrail.

Daniel_Golbeck I actually bought this game when it was released back in the day, wish I could run it on my PC but I was unable to due to my rig being too powerful. This game was a blast to play back then, and hope I can get it running again, but getting my DnD fix with BG3 anyway, maybe Larian will take on a project to resurrect this game too, I'd easily pay another 80$ for an awesome game like BG3

lwxb I just downloaded it from AbandonWare.com. They have both disc images and patch 1.4 available for free. So far, it's working great and I am totally geeking out! :) I am running Windows 10 and the only thing I find is that the graphics sometimes get a little funny and the characters look like they're walking under the floor, You still see the stick figures though and the game is completely playable. One thing I will say is that I tried the convoluted installation instructions someone put up on the site and that didn't work. What did work was double-clicking on the ".cue" file and not trying to use or mount the ".img" file (doing that says the image is corrupted). Double-click the POOL_CD1.cue file and let it use whatever disc letter it chooses (in my case, it was V:). When it says to insert disc 2, go to Windows explorer and right click on that drive (again, V: in my case) and eject it. Next, double click on POOL_CD2.cue and make sure it loads with the same drive letter as before. After it completes, you just need to run the patch software and you're good to go.

neoramz I thought I found a physical copy but like any loose game at Goodwill the discs weren't in there.
