Tommy_Wimmer I just searched for the "No One Lives Forever" trademark. It looks like Vivendi Games last owned the trademark, and they merged with Activision in 2008.

LeonDWH While I have both original games on disc around here somewhere I would have to dig them out to see who "Owned" the rights way back then.. It would be nice to see them "upgraded" with wide screen support and higher definition rezolutions but they would both need some major graphix work to meet the hardware needs of today's machines. Once the rights have been cleared up that may be easy considering games of old that GOG offers us now with the later machine support upgrades in them. FINGERS CROSSED ANYONE?

Hitchno It'd be great, but last I heard nobody knows who actually owns NOLF/NOLF2. It's kina like SHOGO -- such a great game with untapped potential, and toast along with Monolith.

drummindog I truly wish there would be that one person who reads the clammer here for this game and has the knowledge of who owns what and can get those parties talking or at least selling it to someone who cares about it. But whoever owns most/all of it or even enough to control any sort of sale, they still own it and they have the right to sit on it and let it rot. It's unfortunate and sad. It's not terribly unlike you or I stuffing an old lamp in the attic that we would never use again, thus depriving someone else of having it or using it - I guess, it might be a slight stretch. I'm saddened by how no one in the companies involved care. Could be some nice money for whoever could free it up for redistribution.
