Infidelus I played this game relentlessly from release for about 4 years. Recently dug it out and have just managed to get it running on Linux. Pity there's no online community anymore

Also, for those still trying to get their old games to work on Windows 7 plus, you have some options, though your mileage may vary.
1. Make a hardware profile for Windows that limits your RAM to 2 or 3GB (any more than this will cause the game not to work) forums.creativecow.net/thread/56/856593#856598
2. Create a XP Virtual Machine using software that supports Direct3D (7 or greater) like VMware Player/Workstation (requires a valid XP license) my.vmware.com/web/vmware/free#desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_player/6_0
Make sure to limit the Virtual Machine to 2GB or 3GB
The menus have flickering problems, as does the game whenever one of their text overlays show up (like "Final lap" and the initial countdown). The screen wigs out which may induce an epileptic seizure (you'll see what I mean) -- but it's just for 1-3 seconds while the overlay does its thing and then goes away.
These are viable workarounds for now (as long as you're not at-risk for seizures) but I'd REALLY like to see gog.com get a hold of that code and better it to fix those issues and allow us to run on a native Windows OS.

arsosa I remember this game... the mode in which you do a freestyle competition, I never cared about the points but I loved to put max speed and jump... Damn to climb that mountain was the best part of the game you touch the limits and then you went flying far away. And the races are so fun but a bit... hard, and that is when it lost competitiveness everyone has to be so perfect or the difficulty must be really balanced to be fun and fair to not be winning everytime, because to stay in the road is so hard the race get a bit lame or really slow... Awesome game, sometimes really challenging and with adrenaline rush.

This game does require a joystick to play, as attempting to control the bike mid-air with a keyboard is almost imposable.
Pete-W I would buy this in an instant if it was released to work on Win7. Same as fngThatOneGuy said, i have a heap of addon tracks for it.
fngThatOneGuy I agree with westy1969; and I still have all of the track database from mcm2central.com before it stopped servicing the game. I still have all of my copies of the game, but can't get them to run on Windows 7 on most machines anymore. I would love to see this game and its predecessor resurrected so we can enjoy this classic for many more years to come. Vote for it now!
