I don't think the OP can be edited. There's already a wish for it under Features.
Guys, can we put more links in the OP?
Now that Bungie is fully independent, now would be a great time to bug them about doing this.
I'd prefer it if the GOG version is this one:

You can get a better version of the floppy one on Aleph One and an Infinity engine port of the same that lets you play co-op and the other netgame types. The CD version running through Aleph One could be a "Collectors Edition" of such.
I remember loving this game.
I'd pay money for a PC version.
Would be nice to see this series as a free addition to GOG. I recall the games being long and kind of bland, but I'd give them a second chance if they came here.
I would love to see a higher quality version of this game released, all three were very long games with some interesting puzzles here and there!!!! Hope they do it!!!!
@Ababeb Aleph One is distributed under the GNU GPL variant of software license. This essentially means the software can be shared freely (there are some restrictions but nothing that would prevent GOG.com from distributing the Aleph One binaries verbatim). Although the software is available for free already, I see no reason -not- to include it in GOG.com's small library of free games, it would get this game some much needed exposure to the newer generation of gamers and it would be an actual -high quality- free game on GOG.com (currently they're all a bit iffy).
Marathon and Marathon 2 were ported to the PC a long time ago.
It was my understanding that these were exclusively for Macs. Were there PC versions made? o.o
I've been playing this lately and really enjoying it. It would be cool if it appeared as a free download on GOG, but I'm not sure if they could distribute it with Aleph One.
